We are proud to present our first ESG report, reflecting PureTech's dedication to
focus on sustainability and social responsibility. As CEO of PureTech, it is my privilege to
lead our company towards a more sustainable future and contribute to tackling the
challenges facing our planet.
We have placed great emphasis on integrating environmental, social and management considerations into our
business practices and strategy. Our approach is characterized by a holistic understanding of our
impact on the environment and society and a commitment to act responsibly.
In our projection calculation of CO2 emissions, we have identified our growth pattern
as exponential and taken into account all four scopes in the GHG protocol. We have set
ambitious targets to reduce our CO2 emissions and strive to be CO2 neutral
by 2050.
Our environmental policy is the basis for our actions with a focus on CO2 reduction,
water management, waste management and responsible purchasing practices. We continuously implement
measures to reduce our environmental footprint and ensure a more sustainable operation.
We also value our social responsibility and have implemented policies and objectives to
strengthen the working environment, improve working conditions in our supply chain and communicate
openly and honestly with our stakeholders.
Our management policy emphasizes our commitment to follow high standards of ethics,
integrity and transparency in our business. We will continue to work to maintain a
healthy corporate culture and prevent corruption and bribery.
Finally, we integrate the UN's global goals in our work and actively contribute to goals about health and
well-being, clean water and sanitation, responsible consumption and production and the preservation of life under
water.
